Being someone who read Under The Red Hood and came out with the firm belief that, for Jason, it's not about killing Joker, it's about Jason wanting proof Batman would choose him over the Joker (bc shelia chose the joker). Makes seeing any other media where it's all about just wanting the Joker dead is a teeny bit frustrating. to be honest

Jason could've killed the Joker himself, really, really easily. Jason kidnaps the Joker before the confrontation. I can't open my comic for a reference right now, but it felt like he had the Joker for quite a bit before the confrontation. He had him. He beat him up with a crowbar. He had every single opportunity to kill the Joker himself, but he didn't because that wasn't his goal. Make no mistake, he did plan for the Joker to be dead by the end of it, but do you see what im trying to say here

It's not about making Batman kill either. When Batman says he won't kill, Jason adjusts and goes, 'Let ME kill the Joker or kill me to stop me' instead. The test is all about Batman choosing him. The whole final confrontation is Jason's first death again. The parent, The Joker, and the explosives. It even ends with Jason unable to move as a bomb goes off right next to him again because the parent didn't choose Jason. And instead tried finding an option that'd benefit them and (consequencely) letting the Joker walk, again, lol, lmao <-in agony

just poking around frosty editor with veilguard is pretty neat, not all the information in the character notes can be taken as Fact of course, but its fun to see what you can get in there

based off the notes abt the inquisitor, it seems like they were at some point planned to have a more involved or direct role in the game. i get why that was probably cut for resources' sake, but i personally would have liked that

also it seems like charter was planned to be in the game, thats cool! she has an entry like most other npc's, as the liason between the inquisitor and the veilguard team

theres no way to tell when things changed over the course of development, but its neat to get a little glimpse, i think

if you don’t mind could you break down how you draw bodies? nothing in depth, just the basic guidelines ! i’m trying to get better with anatomy and i don’t think the guidelines i use right now are the best… i love the way you do anatomy and was hoping to see your process of getting an initial pose down and making sure the proportions look right :D

Ok forgive me for leaving this unanswered for months, I promise I wasn’t ignoring it I was just busy and also trying to figure out how to best answer this aljskjs

Ok anyways so I broke down the absolute basic basic steps that I like to do for my figure, but I didn’t quite get into the specifics of anatomy and stuff like that (I’d have to do a whole lecture slide and well…. That’ll take much muccchhhhh longer) but anywho!

So I’m certainly not the be-all and end-all of anatomy/pose advice, but I’ve found that breaking down the figure like this into simple shapes is one of the best way I figure out a pose in the years I’ve taken classes/figure drawing myself. A good exercise is to do some gesture drawings with a time limit (for speedy folks like myself (hehe) I like to keep the sketches down to seconds! But if you make a nice sketch in say… 3-5 minutes, that’s a good time!) gesture drawings are literally just drawing people posing (live drawing sessions are really fun, but pictures are just as effective! I’ll say Pinterest is pretty solid for looking up dynamic poses to practice with, but if you just look up something like “dynamic poses online” you can find lots of solid sites that have collected poses over the years! Also do mind some of these have nude models option so if you are in public, at work, and if you’re a minor, please mind those options) another good method is to actually directly trace the figure itself. Not to get too into the ethics of tracing or whatever (good for practice… bad for “saying it’s yours and whatever”), but sometimes tracing the figure directly can help you understand what parts of the body connects to what, and overall would help you identify the various body parts a little better. But yeah! So that’s the gist of it. Again I haven’t gone too deep into the technicalities of anatomy as I would take much longer to do so (one day I will!) but I hope this answers at least a part of your question and helps you on your artistic journey :3

so i was going to keep this brief and i ended up writing a whole ass mini-fic because god do i have Thoughts and Feelings but it boils down to this:

maybe sometimes when you’re empty you seek out any feeling at all even if it’s pain.  And maybe when you’re angry you seek out something to hurt until it surrenders to you.  And maybe sometimes you both get your claws into each other and can’t let go.  because there’s that poem, you know, sometimes suffering can feel like religion, and when you find someone who loves to hurt as much as you love to be hurt…obsession grows insidious and deep.  It’s not love, it’s a trauma bond, but it’s there and they’re going to be stuck in it until the oroboros eats itself alive.

writing elias is fun for, i expect, the same reason a lot of people find the dark urge fun: I know more or less what's going on with her and she's got no fucking clue. she's a very information-driven person, and as soon as she realises that there is some largely indefinable difference between her and the rest of them she immediately starts trying to catalogue it and narrow it down. it's interesting to write someone who is so deliberately aware of themself and observing themself all the time

post-beginning of accomplice ending [anime/ova timeline, so after the burning but long before souji leaves inaba] where souji & the IT are met up at junes still trying to figure out the "real culprit" but souji's phone rings & he looks down & sees its adachi & his brows raise then knit & he looks conflicted for a moment & he quietly excuses himself & the others just assume its dojima calling about nanakos condition or asking him to run an errand so they dont rly give it a second thought, sure ok souji.

but after Quite a long while, souji's still not back & whereas the others are engrossed in talking abt namatame with naoto, it rly nags at yosuke bc he has a bad feeling... what if souji's still not back bc he received some rly bad news? did he have to leave & forgot to tell them? so he tells the others hes gonna go look for souji & see if hes alright or whatever

so he gets up & looks around junes in some of the quieter corners nearby until he spots the bathroom & hes like huh. i wonder if he took his call in the bathroom? or maybe he had to go afterward. so he decides to peek his head in (it's stalls, so theres a sink/open area) & hes abt to say soujis name to see if hes in 1 of the stalls (would be creepy to look down & lean a little to see the shoes in the stalls, after all. & what if he gets the wrong person who just has similar shoes?), but then he hears a choked sound that sounds ODDLY familiar... but, what—

& then he hears it again, this time a bit different. it's more a whimper or smth of that nature... alongside some quiet sound of skin. & he'd recognize his partner's voice Anywhere. was he... in here...??! & he gets flusters for a second bc the reality of walking in on his partner doing smth like that is- i-is... & what sort of phone call couldve led to this? was the phone call a Ruse to get him to leave & have some private time to do... this? his head was too scrambled... & yu sounds far better than he had any right to. he could hardly think abt the implications of the warm feeling in his stomach at the sound of his partner's noises.

but thats when he hears it. souji letting out a strangled hiss of "adachi-san, i—" & his blood goes absolutely cold.
